Midday quarrel

"What happens when you can't get ahold of your emotions, and let them consume you even though you know damn well you need to rule with your brain and put your heart aside ? You break, because no one is leery and strong enough when it comes to love. One day your eyes meet this person's and before you know it you're ready to give everything up for them. When mine met his it felt like time froze and everything around me didn't matter anymore. It was scary at first, you know ? That feeling of excitement, the first emotion that I have ever felt in months, made me feel alive again. The way my heart almost stopped when he gazed at me and how quickly I looked away, the rush of emotions, the thrilling sensation, the fear of him noticing me, how anxious and short of breath I was. It was all incredibly scary, yet it felt like a wave of happiness all at once. It was new, and I loved it. I didn't know back then what I was getting myself into, but I knew that as long as it would be with him I would be okay. And even after all the pain, even after all I have been through because I strived to love him, because I succeeded where many have failed before me, I would give everything in my possession to go back to the very first time I met him and do it all over again. Because that's what you do when you fall for someone and love them more than you have ever loved yourself; you fall even deeper each time but you don't even care because even falling is a blessing as long as they're the ones falling by your side. And that's also where you need to draw the line; because once you cross it there's no going back. You lose yourself, you become numb and empty, you simply cease to exist. And all of that for what ? A love that beats the shit out of you and leaves you craving for more. Don't hang on, save yourself. I realized it too late, but I can only warn you: please run. You have so much love to give; and the whole wide world to see. Live, but be please be careful when it comes to love."
