The world has fallen into chaos after the Power Shift. Governments rarely last more than a few weeks, and everyone lives in uncertainty.

Choosing to look after her parents, Marinette Dupain-Cheng has taken the moniker 'Ladybug' and has become a for hire assassin, working for whoever pays her fee.

After another government shift, she's given a new job. This one is very different from the others, and this one involves escorting the son of a powerful man across the country. If she succeeds, the world will begin to return to normal. If she fails, the consequences will be dire.

Everything rests on the choices she makes.
