It's been 9 days, 4 hours, and 36 minutes since Bonnie and Damon died. Stefan was grieving of losing his brother and his best friend. Elena hasn't said much since Bonnie and Damon died, but she has hope that they can get them back. Caroline has been holding everything together as much as she could for Stefan and Elena, and Rick has been compelling everyone to forget that he had 'died'.
