Description
Every mortal being has a coloured life force that represents their worst characteristics. Death was once a mortal being, and has never known a person like him before: a person with a white aura. However, one day he meets a baby girl who shares his life force shade, and reflects potential to become his apprentice. As closely as he can, he keeps an eye on the girl growing up. Slowly, he visits all her tragedies to take away a loved one, until one day, he arrives at her corpse after she has commited suicide at just fourteen. Using his power to place her body in a deep coma, Death visits Connie's spirit to give her as many reasons possible why she should fight and carry on living. For it's not just Death's apprentice who hangs in the balance, it's the key to the most important question Death has always wanted the answer to: Who is he?
