Cyrus Goodman goes to stay at his father and step-mother's house on the other side of Shadyside for the summer. When he gets there, his father gives him one rule: stay away from the neighbour's son. Of course, when the neighbour's son introduces himself as TJ Kippen, Cyrus finds it hard to follow this rule.
