TO BE REWRITTEN/POSSIBLY COMPLETED Peridot had one thing that made so many fond of her , her genuine, bright smile and her dorky laugh. She could make anyone's day even on accident. Many loved this in her; Lapis, her roommate, was no different. In fact, as she grew feelings for the short nerd, that distinguishing fact was what made her the lightest inside to where she could just forget all her worries and melt into conversations with the other. That was something she always was determined to protect, Peridot's happiness. However, life doesn't always goes as planned and when that smile is put to the rest, Lapis has to try and put her own traumas aside to help the small girl smile once again. ⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️ -Mentions of rape (no smut don't worry) -Depression -Angst -Abuse -Self Harm -Mentions of Torture -Proanity -Fluff (like a whole lot) If you are sensitive to that sort of stuff, you can skip the chapter but there is rape in the theme. I will put a warning on the chapter that has implications but the events of rape are implied throughout the story so if that doesn't float ur boat, I recommend not reading.
