"You should've listened to me Alexis." His voice was rough and deep, a warning tone to it. I squeezed my eyes shut in anticipation, waiting for the blade to cut through my skin."Count for me." He spoke, calm as ever while my body quaked in fear. The blade pierced my skin right below my breast and I breathed in sharply, my nails digging into the bed. I suppressed a whimper, tears already starting to form in my eyes. "O-one." I stuttered out, unsure how I was going to take anymore of this. I was weak and fragile already. He knew that about me. He wouldn't take this beyond my limits right? I underestimated him greatly.. Each drop of my blood was a declaration of my love to him in his mind. A promise that I would never leave him. A promise that I would forever be his. He didn't stop after one cut, or two, or three. He kept going, the blade digging into my skin in a new spot each time. The pain grew dull as he kissed each spot after cutting it. I was silently crying but hadn't registered it yet. Why did I love this man? The question bounced through my head as I cried out again, the blade finding a new patch of skin to torment. I felt pity towards myself, but only because of my stupidity.
