It's an Avengers x female reader story. (this takes place in the first Avengers) Left behind by her birth parents and in the care of an elderly man, (Y/N) struggled to find her true purpose in life. She didn't want to just grow up to meet someone, have kids and stay home. She wanted more. Needed more. And her wish came true. Even with her childhood trauma, she sought out the good in her parents' choice and became something ethereal. She is now using her bravery, kindness and curiousity for the greater good and in helping others as well as meeting new people.
