Grace Steffens and Billie Joe Armstrong had been best friends for years, until Grace's mother dies as the kid's friendship does too. Billie pesters and bothers his way back into the girl's life, becoming more than a friend to her as his band hits it big and he skyrockets into a rock and roll life.
