Prologue

Aspiring cellist Lyla Cummings is embarking on a life-changing journey, attending Julliard School of the Arts in New York City. Though her heavy past continues to haunt her, Lyla's dream of becoming a professional musician is what propels her forward. Since the sudden death of her sister, Lyla has struggled to put the pieces of her life back together. But when she arrives at Julliard, Lyla decides to try and throw caution to the wind and accept her new life, all while experiencing new things that she wished she could talk about with her sister.

Finding Lyla is a coming-of-age story, tackling the ups and downs of falling in love, first experiences and attempting to rebuild your true self.
