When Oscar, a young orphan boy, is spotted by the widowed Mary Feran on the street, Mary pities him and takes him in to her home and her heart.

The previously neglected boy was then thrown into a new environment and shown a happier world.
With his past lurking close behind him but with a new future of love surrounding him Oscar learns how to navigate his new life, as well as some 'ABCs'...
