A lot of people imagined so many things about Rosalind LeRoy. She must have been a wild heiress or another bombshell blonde with nothing to fill her head. Some supposed she must have had so many torrid affairs with actors and toured Europe with the next Howard Hawks on her arm.

What a lot of people didn't know was that she was on a leash just like any other studio employee. LeRoy Pictures owned her and her image, and her Daddy made perfectly clear that she was to front the best, effectively spotless reputation.

Still, she knew how to have fun, and she was just coming into an age where she was ready to give Charles LeRoy the biggest run for his money.
