Getting back to NYC didn't make Sabrina as happy as she thought it would. The young girl had believed that it would bring peace to her life- finally! After so much chaos! But it was not to be. Pinocchio and Red stayed with Granny Relda in Ferryport Landing and Puck traveled the world with Uncle Jake. Though Daphne, Basil, and her parents were there Sabrina felt more alone than ever. She had as much responsibilities as before to- more actually, school having been added to her detective work. Sabrina's life hadn't been 'normal' for years and she couldn't stand to leave all the Everafters without anyone to help them but... she couldn't help herself. Sabrina was afraid and she was sad and no matter how hard she tried to give up on the dream... She was still struggling for normal.
