Description
High School senior Marnie Bennett has it all, popularity, money, and a handsome jock at her side. To everyone on the outside she's the "it" girl, but deep down she's screaming for help. Her world shifts when she's paired with punk-rocker Flint Rogers on a writing assignment. To walk in Flint's shoes means that Marnie has to open her heart to someone who isn't in her circle, but the more time they spend together the harder it is for both to admit they were wrong about each other. With a common love for the same music, Marnie and Flint began to create a bond stronger than either of them are ready for. Marnie's life begins to fall apart when a family scandal comes to light and her friends harbor a massive secret. Flint is the only one there to help pick up the broken pieces. She knows he would make her happy, but she struggles with the idea of being with someone who isn't popular. After a tragic accident leaves Flint fighting for his life, Marnie knows if she wants to keep him in her life she has to grow up and learn that life isn't a popularity contest and that we can't help who we love. Can Marnie fix what she broke or will her stubborn ways keep her from the boy she fell in love with?
