Ramona Martinez, a young princess raised during the dark age of the country of Casier, escapes her parents, who have abused her during the course her life, and disguises her self as a man in order to save her country from destruction. In the process, she gets an assignment to save a damsel in distress. She travels through her country, challenging anyone who dares to rebel against the royal army. When she finally finds her damsel in distress, they both realize that the other is far from what they expected.
