This is a story about unrequited love and a girl's battle against social anxiety. *** Takiyo Hamasaki has liked his childhood friend for quite a while now. However, his love remains unrequited, and he was alone; the kid who never talked to anyone. Then he met Yuko Nishikawa, a girl who suffers from social anxiety but is determined to make friends. Together, they agree to help each other with their respective unrequited loves. Forming bonds, Takiyo learns more about Yuko's past, along many other things, like how love can take more forms than one, and what it means to save someone. Everyone has their own battles to fight.
