Description
When Princess Yseult decides to become an anonymous crime fighter in her kingdom, she can't help but fall in love with her own damsel in distress. ~ In order to escape her boring life, Princess Yseult often dresses up as a peasant to spend time in the city of Evenfall, or the Sun Streets. She never goes to the Shadow City, the dark and looming place, always in the shadow of the Black Keep. When her parents make her a marriage betrothal and the prince comes looking for her, she decides to go down the City anyway, and she barely manages to save Tristan, a blaskmith's son who can't keep himself out of trouble. She starts to develop feelings for him, but all he knows of her is that she's from the Shadow City too. How will he react once Yseult tells him she's actually the princess? ONC 2020, based on prompt 9 [Round 2 Qualifier!] "To escape her abusive parents, a princess dresses up as male vigilante to protect her kingdom but soon catches feelings for her own 'damsel in distress', who knows nothing of her royal blood and true identity."
