Prologue

The start of a new high school for Annie Kehr is a fresh start that
she desperately needs.
Growing up Annie has tried her hardest to appear normal, even
though her home life is anything but. Annie is quickly accepted
into the school by her cousin's friends.
She is intrigued by a loner of the group and sees the same
sadness that she has struggled with her entire life.
Wil Annie be able to keep her home life secret or will her past
eventually ruin her?
