Carter Reynolds. The boy everyone wants to know. He's cool and straight away he's in with the cool kids. Matt is the opposite. No one wants to know him and his friends aren't the coolest, Taylor is as cool as it gets, but he has a bad reputation. Matt takes Carter's eye but Carter doesn't take Matt's, or so Matt thinks.
