Dawn on a crystal

This is a side story in my art universe, which introduces my OC, Lily Night, and the rest of her friends. It was at first a story I started in tears of sadness, but one I wish to continue/end in happiness. When I was writing the first paragraph, I was going through some rough patches, and wanted to convey myself without troubling my friends. It is basically a parallel universe to my own, but with more fantasy-based elements in it. I thank you in advance for expressing some interest to tap on this, and I hope I won't disappoint you.
