When someone mentions the names Frank and Jesse most Americans automatically think of Frank and Jesse James. Notorious outlaws of the midwest and heroes to the common folk, they earned their place in our history books and folklore. The Frank and Jesse in this essay are not the infamous James brothers but, the historically obscure Chilton brothers of Harrisonville Missouri.
