Chapter 1 : Meeting Ivy

When Alex Haulten moves from London to Los Angeles to live with his best friend Tyler, he meets his younger sister, Ivy, but she is nothing like what he expected.

The young woman is rude, cold, and does her best to make Alex feel uncomfortable. Little does he know, Ivy is dealing with a traumatic experience that has left her unable to let people in.

The thing is, Alex can't seem to stay away from Ivy, and his need to keep her close will either help Ivy find the path to recovery or complicate their relationship in ways that could hurt them both.
