Main Characters

Aldaron, a Man, and Laurelin, an Elf Princess, are in love with each other but they can't be together because of the rivalry between their peoples
However Valar, King of the Elves and father of Laurelin, agrees to allow Aldaron to marry his daughter if he succeeds in bringing back "Nenya", the magnificent Diamond which created the Universe and which was stolen by Merkor, the Dark Lord.
Aldaron embarked, then, on this quest, which seemed impossible to achieve
