Prologue

In a world when magic had been banned, an elvish princess is born pulsing with magical power. Can the Queen keep the baby safe from her father, the King? The child has only until eh age of five before she is put to the Test, and if she passes with flying colors then she will be killed. Can the Queen help the Princess to dampen her powers before the test? And what will happen if the baby grows to be too much of a threat for the magic hating king?
