He stared at me intently- so much for 'that won't happen again.'

"You scared?"

"Um, well you've just pulled up with some fancy ass car, no explantation and an idea that I'm actually going to get into it. You've got to be kidding me."

He walked closer to me, still staring unblinkingly into my eyes.

"You should know that I do karate." Not exactly the truth but he didn't need to know that.
