Description
Robin thought she wanted to be a veterinarian and get married more than anything. She's graduated from college while working in a local pet store, living at home and saving every penny, and she's so ready to go back east, where she's already accepted to a prestigious veterinary program. But the guy she was dating, Miles Miller, broke up with her after three years of a really good thing, and left her broken-hearted. He's the grandson of the owners of PetWorld, where they both work, and he was supposed to wait for her while she was off becoming a vet, and they were going to get married when she came back to set up a little veterinary practice in Warren. Her best friend, Peridot, who also works at the pet store, was supposed to be her maid of honor and everything. That was the plan, anyway. But now he's dating Tina, a cute little summer hire at PetWorld, and Robin has to see them together every day. She doesn't want to go to work, she doesn't want to go to vet school, she doesn't even want to get out of bed. And now she has to spend her days with Remi, another summer hire who seems to enjoy spending his time annoying her for no good reason. What happened to her last, farewell summer of fun?
