Chapter One

What started off as a small fling progressed into something deeper. A'liya has always wanted to be loved the proper way, and she meets Travis, who happens to be a married man. They originally met through her big brother who is best friends with Travis. Travis shows her what real love is supposed to feel like. He gives her everything she needs. Her love language is gifts, and Travis makes sure to fulfill her expectations. He always showers her with gifts, pay her bills on time, and he makes sure that every day she feels loved and appreciated. As their relationship grew stronger, she discovers that Travis is a toxic, manipulative, narcissist who can be challenging to be around at times. She is unaware of how to control her own emotions, and she does not want to be controlled, belittled, or taken for granted by the person she "love". A'Lia finds herself wondering if the relationship is worth this much pain or should she just leave while she can. Her manipulative boyfriend Travis, finds himself regretting everything he has put her through despite that A'Lia, is in love with him. All A'liya wants is a guy to treat her with respect, love, and care for her with every bone in his body. What happens when you find that guy, but he comes with a lot of baggage?
