Polarion is in a time of prosperity and peace. King Thomas's twin sons have finally come of age. Crown Prince Roman will soon be able to take the thrown. But to do so, he must find a wife. Polarion's neighboring kingdom, Corotia, has offered to form an alliance with Polarion through the marriage of their children.
