Author's Note

"Beyond that, there is a floor-to-ceiling window with a view of the Seattle skyline that looks out through the city toward the Sound. It's a stunning vista, and I'm momentarily paralysed by the view.

It would be cool, I think, if I could see that everyday. If I could be a woman who, for once, looked over a whole city sprawling wide beneath her feet, instead of a man."
