An ambitious girl with anger bigger than herself and even more confidence was unfortunate enough to be reaped for the 73rd hunger games. Daphne Westefall was not afraid; she would come back.

And she did. A part of her fire had been tamed, and her ambition seemed to have died along with the twenty-three tributes. But she was still who she was; Daphne. Strong and tough. She just was a bit broken, too.
