A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.... Following the defeat of Sheev Palpatine's Final Order, a new Galactic Republic emerged, this time with greater devolved power for each planet under their control. Initially, the Republic worked in unison with Jedi Master Rey Skywalker's re-formed Jedi Order. But 200 years of peace has made the Jedi obsolete, and the force has long been forgotten by most of the Galaxy. In the Outer Rim, the Galactic Republic shares power on the planet Socorro with the Arkanis Cartel, based out of Tatooine... The Socorro Crisis is book one of my Star Wars fanfiction trilogy.
