He had the nerve to laugh at me. It seems like he knows something I don't. Like, why my body was acting strange around him. Or why I couldn't pull the trigger. "What did you do to me?" "I didn't do anything, sweetheart," he said coldly. "Fate has." "What the hell are you talking about?" "Sweetheart, we belong together," he stated as if it was the obvious.
