Chapter 1

Olivia Taylor, formally known as, Nova Faye for a brief period of time has run into a sinkhole of issues. First, she got away from Kyle, whom had been her abuser for years, until she finally got away one day. Upon her arrival of her life in a new city where her best friend, Kelsie lives; she was welcome and saved from a man Kyle sent to bring her back to him, by a man named Quintin.

Things were going well, then one night Olivia completely pushed him away, leaving due to his drinking slightly triggering her, not wanting the possibility of reliving the horrors she dealt with when Kyle got drunk and angry. Instead of staying and waiting till the morning for him to sober up, she left that same night and hadn't spoken to him since, until they seen each other again at the charity dinner, where all hell broke loose.

After the horrific dinner, she and David began to hook up, wanting and needing him to cause her the pain she'd been craving. For months they were spending time together, their bond growing without either of them truly acknowledging what was happening.
