There are strange legends surrounding a house in Elonville - The Black House. They originated after its first owner in the early 20th century; stories of each future owner, added to the beliefs that the house was demonic. At night, people claimed to have seen strange sights, bizarre deliveries or odd individuals. That's why people wanted it gone.
