i was different. and no, i don't mean the stereotypical "i'm not like every one else" different, (well that, too) but i wasn't normal. but then i met this arrogant jackass who showed me that being different wasn't so bad. - the vampire diaries x reader | damon salvatore x fem!reader disclaimers: first, this isn't exactly a slow burn, but it does take a while to get to the romance part. second, this is written in first person, so if that's not your thing, feel free to not read. third, i started writing this a year and a half ago and my writing style has improved tremendously since then. so if you ever read any of the cringy parts, i sincerely apologize. and fourth, i do not own any of the characters in this book besides my ocs. all rights go to their respective owners.
