Our fates are meant to be embedded on the hard surface of a rock thats embraced and cradled by the warmth of the earth below our feet. It was meant to be set to ground: grounded like how or feet should be. But our body responds to the flowing and rumbling gushes of water behind us: the ever-changing river that races the light towards where the sea meets the sky- where it's never ending. Our feet ran towards the pulsing current. It touched the water with a hard splash, and the cold and strong welcome instantly making our knees buckle. But if you ignore your weakened and rubbery legs and look to where the river flows.
