Chapter 1

Popular girl Maddie Haller's mom owns the Organization of Service Providers, or OSP, which goes around the world to help third-world countries and funds their hospitals and schools. During Christmas, OSP holds this "Santa Project" that goes around the world to give toys and goodies to children in need. Maddie is forced to come, and leave her popular life, her friends and her crush Jake behind. Maddie's mother wants her to learn compassion, and Maddie can't do anything about it. And as Maddie goes around, she finds a whole new world to accept.
