Poverty stricken and on the verge of death, Nathan is rescued by an odd couple. One an old friend and another a complete asshole.

As he tries to get his life back together, he realises that though we tend to look patronisingly at people for entering the lottery, our own expectations for how life and love will turn out is complete lottery in itself.
