Prologue

EmberClan has long been lost to the Apocalypse a century ago, where there was no water, no prey, poison in the air, but worst of all: Fire. Burning fires all over the land.
FlameClan has been built upon that memory, in hope for better times coming.
But the Apocalypse is returning, and rumour has it EmberClan (if it is has survived) would know what and where to find the cure for the deadly plague the Apocalypse brings: Darkcough, an illness that turns cats into mindless husks of their former selves, and was the bane of EmberClan. Amberpaw knows that she can save the Clan with the cure from the EmberClan cats, but first, she has to find them.
