Description
Officer Taylin Wight suffered from a brutal bombing that killed her parents and little brother, Dane. Included among the two hundred and ninety-three confirmed deaths that day, was the Queen Rosain herself. Taylin used to have pretty dreams of dresses and boys, but now all she has are nightmares of gruesomely separated bodies and the burnt faces of her loved ones. Now, she haunts the city of Amberbolt as a police of Precinct IX, in search of the perpetrator of the bombing. Winter Blood is an organization bent on destroying the hierarchy and achieving true peace and equality among the people. However, their plan of doing so is to kill anyone who works for the royalty, just short of actually killing the royal family. It is one such member, Kieran, otherwise known as "Ghost", who works as an assassin for Winter Blood and does their dirty work. He doesn't question anything and works as an obedient killer, leaving behind the most brutal of kills with a signature written in the guts of his victims. That is until he encounters the revenge-bent officer during one of his many assassinations. From there, their stories intertwine as they work together to solve the mysteries of the bombing, and to bring down Winter Blood. But with that, a deadly relationship arises.
