Kai ruined Alaric's wedding, killed his fiancé and his own sister Jo. He killed everybody at the reception and killed himself to come back to life stronger than the coven. But he also linked Bonnie's life to Elena's. More specifically, Bonnie has to die in order for Elena to wake up from her coma Kai put her in.

It never ends. Bonnie always has to suffer. But she's not going to give up. She goes straight to the man who abused her in the prison world and demands that he lifts the spell. But what happens when Damon finds her choking in blood this time?
