Prologue

Once every year, Kamado family danced Hinokami Kagura as a form of praying to their God: Fire Goddess. As a return, The Beloved Fire Goddess bestowed Her protection for their well-being.

It's only a given that Tanjirou had an odd luck and odd weapon on his hip. Fire Goddess had recognized him as the first bornーthe one who would sacrifice anything for the greater good, especially when his family was involved. And thus, She gave him her Special Blessing, or so what he said.

Sadly (for Tanjirou), the others didn't think the same.

"Either way, that sword is too strange! What kind of sword that can sever destiny and karmaーor what the hell with that!"
