It started long ago, when a plague doctor had found a mask. The mask was sentient, it was able to feel, and talk. The mask convinced the doctor to keep it, to put it on. They became partners. They learned more and more about each other. But then, a horrible thing happened. They spilt. Many years past before they saw each other again.

A single breach that caused a wave of feelings back in.
