I had spent my whole life between homes, never finding a family to want me enough and never wanting one. I'd gain enough confidence to break free, sleep a couple days out on a park bench or crashing at a strangers place, just to be brought back into a new group home all over again. It teaches you a lot, the most important thing I learned was how untrustworthy this world can be.
