Kathleen Rose Burkhardt was just an average teenage girl. Everyday after school she came home to her constantly fighting parents and 8 year old younger brother jake. She never thought one boy would change her life within a matter of moments.

That is, until she met her new neighbor, Emmett.

He is so secretive and unknown, she couldn't help herself but to be curious. She felt mysteriously drawn to him, and tries to get closer to his secretive world.
