Chapter One

My name is Hillary Bryne, and since I was born. . .I knew there was more than our world. A much more dangerous world full of things still unknown to humans. I know because my parents were killed by those creatures.

I thought they were all dangerous, nasty things that enjoyed to kill. That was until I met them. As soon as I met them I realized not all of them were the same. And Crawford. When I met him I never wanted to be without him.

But things change. . .people change. Everything I thought I knew about the Realms made me make all the wrong decisions. I chose the wrong side of the upcoming war. . .but I couldn't just turn my backs on my friends, even if they weren't as innocent as they seemed.
