There are winners and their are losers in the world, both in life and love. So what happens when two losers, from each end of the social spectrum come together? Amanda Harrington, a wealthy young socialite, who has been controlled and dominated by her rich Father John Harrington, the owner of a string popular nightclubs and a casinos, who only sees his daughter as a pawn for his own politically and business ends, and cares nothing about her personal happiness. And then there is Dave Travers, who is down on his luck, stuck in a low paid job as bouncer, in one of John Harrington's nightclubs, whilst his ex wife swans off to a life in Spain with her new lover, taking Dave's son with them.
