TRIGGER WARNING: Marco Mendoza, a 17-year-old with vitiligo, has been bullied out of his high school for his senior year. Being raised a Jehovah's Witness and undergoing conversion therapy, he keeps to himself. His struggles with identity, faith, and self-acceptance manifest themselves through his art...when he's not using alcohol or self-harm to cope. He has strings pulling him from both ends and doesn't know where to go. His views on himself, religion, and the people around him are damaged beyond repair in his eyes.
