Introduction

Amelia stayed in Paris after fighting for Frances freedom, which came in 1945, when the war ended.

A year on, she faces another challenge, being in a collect few who didn't hate the Germans. Alongside her friends, she helps Maria try and get back her German husband who had been casted out of France. Facing persecution for her beliefs, she fights for the rights of all French Germans.

While trying to locate Marias husband, she bumps into familiar people along the way and ends up rekindling her relationship with a certain person - who she never thought she would see again.
