"Every Morsel of My Being" is a collection of what can be described as the thoughts of a lost soldier who has experienced pain and defeat in more ways than one. Ishmael is a mercenary that hunts his fellow man for a living, but his view of the would could not be more different from the cliche idea of how a warrior thinks. In reality, he is beginning to review every morsel of his being to discover what it means to be human.
